Earlier @The_Episiarch sent this to me and got me thinking how thick a Yokai should be to slither around in one& #39;s scrotum.

So in this essay, I will calculate the potential dimension of a scrotum-slithering yokai, Subakuchu, and discuss its— https://twitter.com/matthewmeyerart/status/1316657308059996161">https://twitter.com/matthewme...
According to healthline dot com an average testicle (not scrotum) is 4x3x2cm³, making it 24cm³ in volume

However, the Subakuchu lives inside the scrotum, not a testicle, which is harder to measure. So we& #39;ll use 48cm³ as the minimum volume of an average scrotum.
This raises the questions: Is a Subakuchu ethereal or physical? Can it occupy the same space as its host& #39;s organs, or would it need to displace some flesh to fit in there?
"they seem to disrupt the body in a physical way much like biological parasites, so I& #39;d say they& #39;re physical."

Assuming it fully occupies the scrotum, fully displacing the testicles, the minimum surface area of a Subakuchu thin section is 48cm³/1500cm=0,032cm²=3,2mm²

This gives us a 1mm radius or 2mm diameter, for a 15000mm long Yokai.
"It& #39;s kinda ridiculous, but it *is* within the ballpark of how thick that whale dick worm is"

"And worms in the genus that whale dick worm is in (Crassicauda) grows to between 1-11 m long, depending on the species"

"And since Subakuchu is described as being "deadly" to the host once it gets to 15 or so metres long, I& #39;d imagine it& #39;s probably bc it got so big that& #39;s it& #39;s gonna go all horsehair worm on the host"

Discussion: The calculations in this thread only represent a Subakuchu& #39;s minimum size, assuming it lives in an average-sized scrotum.

More research in scrotum expandability is needed to calculate a Subakuchu& #39;s potential maximum size before it bursts out of the host& #39;s—
