Why is it feel like everyone’s first dropshipping store is pet related?
My first stores

• dog store (never launched)
• camping store (lost $150 on fb)
• dainty travel jewelry (travel bloggers wouldn’t work with me)
• baby clothes (made my first two sales, lost $100)
• slim wallet (made my first $30k)

Should I post some of my first ads?
Posting these so you know what’s UNACCEPTABLE.

I ran ads to these, lost every time.

But I committed to spending $500 per month until I figured it out.

I eventually figured it out a little ;)
And I’ll tell you what clicked for me first.

There were these slim wallets popping off at the time.

I kept noticing the customers that’s posted them also owned Jeeps.

So I positioned it as a wallet brand for Jeep owners.

It was a wrap, changed my life lol.
Also noticed I committed to spending a solid chunk of my income UNTIL I figured it out.

I was ready to do whatever it took and keep grinding until it worked for me.
I lived in a basement with no heat, air conditioning and 2 electrical outlets.

$500 per month.

I remember that winter of ‘17 like it was yesterday.
I would grind on my laptop, learning the ropes in Shopify and put on my bubble coat to go to sleep.

Was pumped to wake up and get after it the next day.

Exciting times man.
It's funny because the pet space isn't even bad.

Most people just try it at a time where they're skill level isn't there to compete with the big dogs killing the space.
