It just crossed my mind how Pentagon Daisy is somehow a perfect portrayal of Carl Jung's five stage of grief. Wow, daisy sure fits to the theory. Each element in lyric and MV depicting these. More dissection below. Ps: I'm not a psych major so CMIIW #PENTAGON #Pentagon_daisy
The first stage of loss, denial, is in the intro.

[That night was like a lie, those damn memories I never wanna go back...]

Note that they said they don't wanna go back, 'never', and how they describe 'that night was like a lie'. It's the denial. #PENTAGON #PENTAGON_Daisy
The denial continues after the intro with these

[For a long, long time I hope you’ll go far far away (don’t go)]

Note that previously the lyric said they don't wanna go back but they're just in denial. They still yearn to be together w/ their lover #PENTAGON #PENTAGON_Daisy
Next stage is anger

[There is no mercy, my heart is privacy Whatever you do, I don’t care I just want you to be unhappy (I hope)]

Before they're in denial but reality kicks and the denial change to anger. Wanting their ex to be unhappy. #PENTAGON #PENTAGON_Daisy
After the anger comes the bargaining stage

[I’m sorry, it’s getting late I came because I still have things to say I’m not sober, my memory is blurry Why does my heart keep hesitating?]

#PENTAGON

Lastly the acceptance phase. W/ all the emotion they have no choice but to accept in which they become more honest, contrary to the denial phase

[You’re the sun that shines a light. My dear, please be happy. The white petals of a daisy, now don’t hate me Like a fool]

#PENTAGON
That's how Daisy from Pentagon is a whole story of heartbreak and grief. Thank you for reading my half assed essay. AND LASTLY KEEP DAISY ON TOP OF THE WALL, UNIVERSE đŸ˜đŸŒŒ #PENTAGON #PENTAGON_Daisy
