Although burning urine is usually a sign of a UTI, not an STI. And women get UTIs for multiple reasons that don’t necessarily include sex. Let’s not stigmatize UTIs.

There’s so many girls who are scared to speak up when they have a smol smol UTI because they think it’s an STI and then get scared they’ll be accused of having unprotected sex.

I see the jokes but yeah, it’s a dangerous joke considering that some parents think like that too and then bring their teenage daughters in accusing them of being “loose” when actually the poor girl just has a UTI.
