Here are 7 ways that can help you reduce medical school debt:
1) Stop drinking filtered water. It might not be as clean or it might make you sick but toilet water is much cheaper.
2) Consider not eating food. Now we don’t mean to stop eating food entirely. But food is expensive so maybe instead of having three meals a day, maybe try to eat one or two meals per week.
3) You should basically be at the library 24/7 and you shouldn’t even be buying furniture so don’t even bother paying for housing. Live at the library instead.
4) Ask for help! Asking your rich family to pay for all of your medical school expenses. This is the one full-proof way to reduce medical school debt and we’re not quite sure why not all students do it.
5) One of our favorite TV shows is Breaking Bad so make of that what you will.
6) As future medical professionals you will be giving the gift of life and what better time to start than right now by gifting vital organs in exchange for monetary rewards.
7) Instead of living frugally, avoid the cost of medical school entirely by not going. This should be pretty obvious but by including fees for applying, high cost standardized tests, charging you every step of the way and then some, we simply don’t want poor people in medicine.
