A big thing that Obama got criticized for were his multiple "wars" in the middle east, which was really a continued anti-terrorism strategy from the previous administration that he tried to wind down. These days, we have almost no idea what is going on with the US military.

What we do know:
1) drone strikes have not gone down and may have increased
2) Trump doesn't care about civilian casualties
3) the Trump administration has censored the reporting of civilian casualties by the US military

4) we have actually increased troops in the middle east by 20,000 since 2016
5) we are not withdrawing all troops from Afghanistan despite Trump's claims
6) Trump allowed Russia to bomb & slaughter thousands of Syrian civilians (creating a refugee crisis that destabilized Europe)

7) Trump allowed Turkey to bomb and slaughter thousands of Kurds, formerly our allies
8) North Korea is still building nuclear weapons
9) Iran is now enriching uranium and is more hostile than ever

What a mess.

I left out how the Trump administration also gave massive military aid to Saudi Arabia as they bombed the shit out of Yemen, killing thousands.
