Halfway through October, 5th month live, and there have been some notable changes. I feel like I'm finally starting to swim as opposed to just keeping my head above water. I have so much to learn still but I wanted to reflect on some things. #bbtfamily @BearBullTraders 1/
I am averaging .92% account growth per day with 1 red day in the past 10. It feels good to know that this month will make up for the past three red and break even months and then some if the current trend continues. There has been some notable changes to my trading. 2/
1. So boring now, average trades down from over 10 to like 3 a day. Fees from 40% to under 10%.
2. I hold a runner but if it goes past 2R and comes back I'm all out. I'll partial above 2R but often times I'm all out at 2.
3. If my trade retraces from 1R to BE I get out.

4. My day is done if I hit 3R, I get to take one more trade if I'm at 4, if I hit 2R and trade back to BE I'm done, if I'm down by 2R and get to BE I'm done. 3R max loss day.
5. I strive to accomplish balance each day, whither it be meditating, quality time with family, or music
6. This mixes with the last one but I've focused on my mental health above all else while trading. Max loss days dont devastate me like they used to. I've accepted them as part of it.
7. I started seeing a therapist to work through problems that inhibit my trading. @AlphaMind101
8. I stopped being in the trading room. It messes with my emotions and I do dumb stuff. Still think being part of a community/working with others is super important to success in this field. Just maybe dont have to listen to them while you trade.
9. This works for me for now.
I started a new job and it sucks that it is happening just when trading is beginning to work. However the reality is I'm underfunded to realistically live off trading. I will get there, I will work on my swings, and trade when I can. Can't wait to see what may come. End Thread.
