1/Great listen from @FayCortez on myriad issues w/ leading period tracking apps, (sadly) reinforcing many concerns @_leahrfowler & I have found in our work on this issue https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/building-a-better-period-tracking-app/id1440051086?i=1000434672576">https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas...
2/ one key insight--if it& #39;s "free," you& #39;re likely paying via your data. yes, it& #39;s been said before, it merits repeating--especially when we& #39;re talking about selling sensitive info (as in "when you last had sex"-level sensitive info)
3/ the terms of service & privacy policies governing these platforms are HIGHLY variable...and generally do not in any way facilitate informed decision-making about what/how much/to whom you share these sensitive data, as we describe in @TheHPPJournal https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/1524839919899924">https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.11...
