2/ one key insight--if it's "free," you're likely paying via your data. yes, it's been said before, it merits repeating--especially when we're talking about selling sensitive info (as in "when you last had sex"-level sensitive info)
3/ the terms of service & privacy policies governing these platforms are HIGHLY variable...and generally do not in any way facilitate informed decision-making about what/how much/to whom you share these sensitive data, as we describe in @TheHPPJournal https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/1524839919899924
