IMPORTANT! Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump Administration’s decision to cut the 2020 Census short. That means instead of having until the end of the month, we only have until TOMORROW, October 15th to make sure everyone is counted.
While the vast majority of our community has already responded, every additional person to do so means another $30,000 in funding for roads, schools, and other important programs and services will come to Washtenaw County over the next 10 years.
Here are a few things you should do to make sure every Washtenaw County resident is counted:

1. Quote retweet this thread and @ as many neighbors & community leaders as you can think of.
2. Send this post to your landlord & ask them to email all of their tenants a reminder to take the census online or by phone if they haven’t already.
3. Text AT LEAST 5 friends, family members, or neighbors to make sure they have completed the census and ask them to do the same.
4. If you know a restaurant or business owner, ask them to remind all of their customers tonight and tomorrow to take the census.
5. Ask your child’s teacher or principal to send a reminder to all student's families.
6. Reach out to your Pastor, Priest, Rabbi, Imam, or other religious leader and ask them to reach out to the entire congregation with a reminder to complete the census.
The Census is so easy and only takes 10 minutes to complete. You can still take it online at http://my2020census.gov  or by calling is 844-330-2020.

Let's do this!
