This is what the overwhelming majority of hitting prep looks like for the hitters I work with. The only goal is to feel athletic, fast, and smooth. 99% the hitters I work with go straight from this to really challenging machine or plyo work without tee work or front toss.
I’ll say it again, I’m not anti-tee or front toss, but I think the narrative of progressing from tee
front toss
bp is incredibly outdated, inefficient, and not ideal for most hitters. If that’s what allows you to rake be my guest, but most hitters don’t rake.

I highly recommend spending the large majority your time competing and challenging yourself, not building a false sense of confidence hitting a stationary ball or one that’s moving slowly.
