On 3 June @jimscottjourno published locals opinion piece regarding Planning Permission for cottage

The first mention the Northern Echo makes SPECIFICALLY to Council Tax Liability & the Cottage seems to be 4 July when @GavinHaveryEcho reports an exclusive about planning investigation (link & highlight)

Then the 'Big story' on 13 Oct in which @GavinHaveryEcho claims exclusively that the CT bill has been written off & how the Echo was the hero who had uncovered the story of CT & Planning bc they 'saw' evidence (your tw) & 'investigations exclusively reported by NE' (your tw)

'In June, The Northern Echo was made aware* that council planners at Durham County Council were looking into allegations that the property where Mr Cummings stayed during his lockdown trip did not have the correct planning permission'
*"made aware" means your published 31 May*

So you published three days before they did AND investigated C/T AND Planning 31 May

They published CT Months later & Planning three days later than you
