twitter is so bizarre like artists will post stuff they poured their heart and soul into and some ppl will reply like "lol reminds me of [meme/vaguely related or completely unrelated thing/overly familiar anecdote about how their life sucks]!"

i understand wanting to relate and interact with ppl online that's why we're all here but what are artists supposed to feel/how are they supposed to react when they read those things?? esp when it says nothing about the actual art like it makes me feel nothing but mild confusion

if you tell me my art reminds you of a meme my brain becomes consumed by a void for about 5 seconds while i think about how much that has nothing to do with what i posted
