alright folks! please block @/jaxinmcusf1 as they are ableist. here’s how i know:

a thread
i found this person as they followed me and was going through and liking some of my tweets. i noticed they had fonts in their dn and thought to myself, “hey didn’t we go over how we need to stop putting fonts in our dns and bios and tweets, since screen readers cannot pick up+
on them?” so i clicked on their account to see if their dms were open or not so i could let them know.
i noticed fonts in their bio as well.
their dms were open so i went to ask them to please remove them. here’s that part of the convo
this seemed a little odd to me. maybe english isn’t their first language? i decided to explain further. they replied that they like the font and added the passive aggressive smiling emoji
(any and all screenshots used in this thread are mine btw)
i asked if english was their first language or not (finally) and they said no so i sent them the video that has been circulating for forever
they started to get more passive aggressive with me and i tried to keep my cool but this is what made me crack
i was about to send them this when they started typing again so i waited to see what they said.
they said this.
and i cracked. i didn’t mean to but i did. it’s so ableist
they replied to me with this. i tried to remain calm but everything they said was so ableist and cruel to disabled people
finally, i gave them a what if situation. i’m not disabled, it was just to see what they would say. they dismissed it and now i’m blocking them, removing my initial tweet about them, and reporting them.
imagine valuing an aesthetic over people with disabilities that have to use screen readers. remove fonts from your bio and dns. don’t use them in your tweets. remove them completely.
