so basically what happened is last night, i went to bed early at like 11:30pm, but some of my friends stayed up to play among us and they have this discord server of like 20+ ppl w school friends just to play among us.

they played last night at like 12am and there was this unknown person in the voice call and the game and they didn& #39;t know if the person was a bot or not so they asked them to like "reveal" themselves. the person said that they were angela (which is also my name).

and all my friends were confused bc like the person didn& #39;t sound like or talk like me but the person was saying that they were me??? everyone was super confused so two of my friends texted me asking "yo are you playing among us rn"

but like, i was sleeping like a rock and didn& #39;t see their texts until the next morning and i was like "no? i was sleeping" and they were like "...someone on the discord call said that they were you but they sounded different and we were confused..."

and i was like "thats...lowkey creepy why would someone pretend to be me??" oh and let me add the fact that i wasn& #39;t even in the discord server that they were talking about bc i dont play among us that often so they didn& #39;t add me into it

but it& #39;s a server of all our friends so it had to be someone i know right? so i got a picture of that person& #39;s discord username and posted on my finsta saying, "if this is ur discord username dm me bc we need to chat" bc like only my close friends follow my finsta and i would be

less scared(ish) if one of my friends was j clowning around for shits and giggles (still highkey creepy but at least i know it& #39;s not for bad intentions none of my friends are bad ppl),, flash forward a few hours and i get a dm request from someone NOT following my finsta

and i open it and guess who its from? a girl named angela g. who also goes to my school.

and she was like "hi i got a screenshot of ur post and that discord profile is mine, i guess there was a mix up bc we have the same name but it wasn& #39;t my intention to have everyone think i

was you. i genuinely thought ppl knew who i was bc im friends w one of the ppl in the server and they invited me into the chat j to play among us."

i was like "omg lmfao i was lowkey so scared bc like the whole imposter thing was super creepy,, but we are totally chill i was j

concerned bc i didnt know who it was, thank you for reaching out to me"

and she goes "omg im so sorry"

and i was like "noooo dont be sorry"

and she said "they were like telling me wait you sound different and i was like ??? what?? bc i thought they knew who i was"

i kid you not i was SO DONE reading this convo bc like??? my friends were being so stoopid and i was telling her "it was a genuine mixup lol we& #39;re chill af our friends are just DUMB"

and she was saying "lmao yeah they thought i was a bot or like hiding my identity or smth"

and i was literally thinking HOW ARE MY FRIEND SO STUPID THEY SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME I LITERALLY CANNOT BELIEVE THEM and the other angela was also lowkey scared bc when she got the screenshot of my post she was like what is happening,,, but everything is good and gucci now

in conclusion, my friends are stupid (but i still love them,, even though they can be so dumb sometimes) anyways i told my friends to add me into the server so i can tell them all how dumb they are and i did and i feel better now :)

pheww that was long,, idk i j felt like sharing this bc i thought it was funny (now that the whole fiasco is over) kudos to you if you read through this whole thing lol lmk how you felt about this story bc like,, i cant believe this actually happened to me lmfao
