I have made the decision to leave the Republican Party. Since I have been involved in politics (started in 2016) I have always considered myself a republican. The republicans were once the party of equal rights, free markets and compassionate conservatism. 1/3

But Trump and many other republicans have changed that over the past four years. The GOP has moved away from free trade and free markets and has openly embraced populist tactics. I hope and pray that the GOP can find it’s way back to the right path. 2/3

The path that supports equal rights, free markets and common sense solutions. But until that day comes I will be joining the party that embraces different views and has become the big tent party of America, the Democrats. 3/3
