If people don't think you and your best friend are in love, take a step back and then try harder because you're doing something wrong.

Two of my friends have photos of me on their "Inspiration"/"Do it for them" boards.

The sister of my middle school best friend wanted said best friend and I to date the entirety of our friendship. (We were both closeted and she and her family were/are heavily religious, but also not interested in each other)

My best friend (who I just saw get married) talked about me to her in-laws more than she did about her sisters.

My ex was so insecure that he genuinely thought I would leave him for that same best friend who is straight. Tried to shame me into not talking to her (manipulation tactic). He is right, of course, because if she wasn't straight, he and I wouldn't have dated.
