Thinking about how much stupid shipping drama in the CR fandom has been fueled by believing you can't be attracted to more than 1 person at a time or you're manipulating them if you have those feelings after you've decided not to pursue dating them or it means you want to cheat.

And how stupid and naive that is period, but even more so when several of them have openly talked about multi-attraction being a normal healthy thing they navigate constantly and are open about with their partners.

Attraction is certainly a brick or two in building a relationship house, but it's not the house. You can be attracted to someone and think their hot and be thrilled at their company and for any variety of reasons not want to pursue a romantic or sexual relationship with them.

This idea you can only latch onto one person at a time and if you so much as think of another person you've committed a sin is some seriously repressed Christian shit that's worked its way into common culture. It's not romantic, it's just unhealthy.

One of this show's cursed that gets reflected in the fandom pretty regularly is the cast are far less repressed, more mature, and more intelligent than a lot of their audience. Charitably, many fans may just be kids with no real experience but fan fiction yet full of opinions.

People work themselves up in a tizzy because the cast aren't following the rigid rules of a moral system several of them have openly mocked for abusing them and rejected (especially Brian and Liam), or simply grew up totally outside of (like Taliesin).

Anyway, I really appreciated Marisha explicitly saying Beau is attracted to both Jester and Yasha but she's choosing to funnel her energies into being Jester's friend because that's what Jester seems to want, and pursue Yasha romantically because that's what Yasha seems to want.

Being attracted to someone is a fine basis for a friendship that may not go anywhere else. It doesn't have to be tormented pinning my any stretch. If things change & it does start to go places romantically, Beau has two hands and a voice to communicate her desires to her partner.
