Originalism has endless hilarious uses. "Hey I was gonna but new tires on the car, but I& #39;m a strict originalist. I was about to upgrade from my phone line AOL modem to high speed, but hey, originalism. The dog needs a bath, but originalism, you see. Please read my briefings."

And no, one doesn& #39;t need to be a genius or have a law degree to understand that a bunch of reactionary assholes are using this bullshit to try to keep regressive minority rule for decades.

Legal scholars who espouse this theory deserve no respect. They want to be arbiters of canon law and scripture.
