Many ask us why a Biden will be better than Trump on Syria. It’s an important question, given how Syria policy this decade has been a failure, according to Biden’s senior foreign policy advisor @ABlinken— an opinion no doubt shared by millions of Syrians & many Syrian Americans.

The next president will inherit a complicated crisis requiring smart, bold diplomacy, aid, and leverage, working with allies and standing for American values. We ask voters to think about all of the policies that a president is responsible for— not just any single issue.

For those who do vote with #Syria most prominently in mind, we say this while sharing their anguish over consistent failure in Syria: we must think about what Syria can look like by 2024, not what could have been in 2014.
