here’s my theory on taehyun and hueningkai’s trailers and how their stories seem to overlap

in this trailer, we instantly see that taehyun & hueningkai find themselves in the same place, but taehyun seems to be discovering it for the first time. we wake up with him as he opens his eyes and takes in his surroundings looking UP and around to find birds flying above him.

this poses a direct contrast to hueningkai’s teaser, where the camera angle for the majority of the time is pointing up with hyukai looking DOWN at us as he invites us into this new world, one he seems very comfortable in and familiar with.

with taehyun looking up and hueningkai looking down, this begs the question of what the bird taehyun is watching represents. i believe it represents hueningkai.

hyukai’s open arms at the start of his teaser indicate he is welcoming someone into this world, a world that now seems to be his very own. he as the bird is welcoming taehyun into someplace new and now could be his GUARDIAN ANGEL for all that follows.

is hueningkai welcoming taehyun to whatever place we saw him in the eternally mv? has taehyun come to rescue HIM from this world, essentially “finding” hueningkai in the sky at 5:53?

or has taehyun gotten sucked in and now needs rescuing as well? would all the members having to reunite in order to bring them both back, necessitating the undoing of the growing apart we saw in cysm and concluding with all of them finding each other in the sky at 5:53?

i’m assuming yeonjun’s trailer will be somewhere different and could potentially be an important clue to figuring out what comes next
