New and different ways for video games to copy movies.
1/?
Slapstick comedy.
You aren't trying to defeat enemies or complete a quest. You're trying to make as many jokes as possible with the available props. Slam the "END SCENE" button when you run out of jokes.
Climax.
You don't control the camera. You control whichever character the camera is looking at. Each of the 25 characters have different control schemes. None of them are documented.
Studio Ghibli.
Communal gardening sim. Integrated fan-site for uploading relaxing videos of the beautiful fields & cottages you maintain.
Horror movie.
Characters can't see what's not on-screen. Manage the camera to set up jump scares & allow the monsters to sneak up on the victims.
Currency is Chekov's Guns, set-ups, and unanswered questions. Build them up over the course of the game, then pay them all off at the climax to rack up a huge combo score.
Monster Hunter the nature documentary.
Complete the manipulative & misleading shot list from your producer without scaring the animals away or getting eaten.
