I mean, if they can take something as personal and as intimate as SEXUAL IDENTITY and demonize it by calling it a "preference," then what's to stop them from doing the same thing with other forms of identity, such as religious or political preferences?

This idea -- the fundamental idea itself -- that identity should be something the government, OR the fucking church, has any say in, is utterly and completely hostile to the very idea of freedom and liberty.
