Every time we start talking about birth control and abortion, people get all hashtagged up about why they use birth control or planned parenthood for ancillary reasons. It’s great if birth control regulates your period or makes your hair lustrous or you get a Pap smear at PP

But it’s also great and normal to use birth control because you choose to have sex with a person who could impregnate you. And abortion is a legal right. It’s legal and acceptable for you to go to PP for an abortion. You don’t have to talk about it or explain it.

You’re allowed to make the best decisions about your life and healthcare for yourself without shrouding it in rhetoric that people who want to control you prefer.
