from trying to read charts of Black people who were freshly murdered by the state to displaying highly traumatizing and graphic images of them being murdered - it’s clear that the astrology community on twitter and beyond has no respect for Black people.
it’s a shame because nonblack people aren’t the only people who talk about the Black struggle* but they’re the only ones you’ll *maybe* listen to. it’s their voices that get amplified but not ours.

*Black racial politics expand beyond the US and beyond the BLM org and “movement”
it’s actually really racist to think that as a nonblack person you are more capable of articulating our struggle than we are.

and y’all’s definition of “articulate” in itself is racist too because when i say articulate, i mean literally just our lived experience is enough.
to add insult to injury, y’all still continue to make excuses and bolster individuals who have displayed racist and hurtful behavior. they’re too young, they’re too old, it’s always something. you’re basically communicating, imo, that you have little regard for us
for consulting astrologers: how on earth do you think your personal prejudices and bigotry exist in a vacuum when most of your clientele is Black or lgbt or (wait for this, this is unfathomable) BOTH! your ideology affects your work
and i don’t know their @ but thank you to the person who brought to light the offensive images in the Astrology U presentation, please tag them so i can credit them.

(also still don’t think Astro U has adequately taken accountability for this, lolz)
