ध्यायेद् दुर्गाम् one should meditate on Durga
काल-अभ्र-आभाम् who is brilliant like a dark cloud
कटाक्षैः अरिकुल-भयदाम् who bestows fear on enemies with her glances
मौलि-बद्ध-इन्दु-रेखाम् who has the streak of the moon on her head
त्रिनेत्राम् who has three eyes>>
करैः शड्‌खम् चक्रम् कृपाणम् त्रिशिखम् अपि उद्वहन्तीम् who carries with her hands the conch, disk, sword abd trident
सिंह-स्कन्ध-अधिरूढाम् who has climbed on the shoulder of a lion तेजसा अखिलम् त्रिभुवनम् पूरयन्तीम् who fills all the three worlds with brilliance, splendour>>
जया-आख्याम् who is known as Jaya
त्रि-दश-परिवृताम् who is surrounded by the gods
सिद्धि-कामैः सेविताम् [and] served by those who seek siddhi (success in any pursuit - be it yogic, aatmic or laukik)
Devi can hear your thoughts even before you articulate them. And she understands all languages. But if you choose to revere her in Sanskrit, be sure to pronounce the words perfectly, as per śikṣā rules. You wont find a better exponent than my guru

चिन्तये I meditate on पद्मावतीम् Padmavati सर्वज्ञेश्वर-भैरव-अङ्क-निलयाम् whose resting place is the body of Bhaivara, the all knowing Lord; नेत्रत्रय-उद्भासिताम् who is resplendent with the three eyes and नागाधीश्वर-विष्टराम् who is seated on the seat of Naagraj;
फणि-फण-उत्तंस-उरु-रत्नावली-भास्वद्-देहलताम् whose slender body is shining with the chain of large jewels in the hoods of snakes चन्द्रार्ध-चूडाम् पराम् who is most excellent with the half moon on her forehead; and दिवाकर-निभाम् brilliant like the sun.
माला-कुम्भ-कपाल-नीरज-कराम् She has in her hand(s) a necklace, water-pot, a skull and a lotus.
