Solutions for @TribeAthletics after reinstating @SaveTheTribe7: 1. Run it like a business, remove the Tribe Club (their lack of oversight got us here). Add a “Board of Directors” with equal representation for teams. Reps. appointed by team. Out w/ “Old Boys” network (1/x)
@williamandmary 2. Full financial transparency. Breakout P&L by sport (not just Fball, B-ball (M&W), and all other sports). Publish budgets each year and quarterly updates on progress (hit / miss on budget) (2/x)

@HerbCarmen 3(a). Spending controls. Cap expenses based on hist. peer medians, grow yearly at inflation. Low base salary for fball and basketball head coaches w/ majority in incentive pay (opportunity for NCAA leadership here). Currently expenses are $10 mil. above FCS avg. (4/x)

5. Conference realignment - @williamandmary is very different than @CAASports peers. Need to either a. Join the @PatriotLeague or b. start a confederation of VA / regional schools (U of R, Gtown, JMU etc.) to lower travel costs for all non-basketball sports (6/7)
@ByDavidTeel 6. Division 1 is changing fast - will be the “haves” and “have nots” very soon due to budget crisis schools like @williamandmary are facing. Best move is for @Jeremy_P_Martin to act now w innovative thought and for WM to be a leader
