I have 866 followers on Twitter and I don’t know if I will ever get 1000 followers but I’m very excited about the prospect because I have noticed that exciting things always seem to happen to people with over 1000 followers on Twitter. I think I will start a thread.

I mean if I get to 1000 followers I might get trapped in a lift and have to give a Zoom lecture from there. I do manage about 100 instructors who teach on Zoom and this hasn’t happened yet.

Or go to a shop and be accosted by a non mask wearing lunatic or something. Mostly my trips to the shop are very uneventful.

Or have my dogs inadvertently interrupt a huge management meeting. I have two big dogs so that might actually be cool.

Or I could ask my 1000 followers for recommendations for restaurants when I go out rather than googling them or reading reviews.

Maybe it’s just me but does anyone else think people with over 1000 followers have the greatest lives and not just once in a while, kind of like every day.
