NEW: A car has encroached onto the railway at Stirling. We're working closely with the emergency services.

We're able to divert trains around this obstruction by using Platforms 6 & 9 at the station. Use P6 if you're heading for Perth/Aberdeen and P9 for Glasgow/Edinburgh. ^CT
UPDATE: @NetworkRailScot's team are on their way - they'll work to remove the car, inspect the track and hopefully get Platforms 2 & 3 open again as quickly as they can. ^CT
A reminder - If you're heading for Perth / Aberdeen from Stirling, please use Platform 6. Heading for Glasgow/Edinburgh? Use Platform 9. ^CT
UPDATE: @NetworkRailScot are working to remove this car from the railway as soon as possible. To do this safely, they need to turn off the power to the overhead wires through the station. Our Inter7City services are unaffected. ^CT https://twitter.com/NetworkRailSCOT/status/1316389546968395776
While this is ongoing, our Glasgow Queen Street - Alloa services will be suspended, and our Edinburgh - Dunblane services will terminate and start back from Camelon. We'll have replacement transport operating between Stirling & Falkirk Grahamston, calling at Larbert. ^CT
UPDATE: Services are now being altered to allow the recovery of the car to begin. @NetworkRailScot's team have switched off the power to the overhead lines to allow this to happen safely. ^CT
UPDATE: The car has been removed from the railway, @NetworkRailScot are checking over P2 & 3 for any damage. Overhead lines have been switched back on, so our Glasgow Queen Street - Alloa and Edinburgh - Dunblane services are returning to normal. ^CT https://twitter.com/NetworkRailSCOT/status/1316413416509255681
The first services to run as planned through to Stirling are our 1649 Edinburgh to Dunblane and 1733 Glasgow Queen Street to Stirling. ^CT
