DAVID ADELEKE (Davido) DESERVES AN APOLOGY FROM US ALL!!!

Here’s a thread why he does deserve an apology.

Sometime around last week when the protest was still heating up, Davido tweeted, we need to have a dialogue with the top top, he clearly stated that this dialogue wouldn’t or shouldn’t be a zoom call,IG live or even a phone call. It should be a face to face meeting...

After he tweeted this, we all know who Davido is in Nigeria, he was already seeking that audience with the IG of police so as it wouldn’t be a “just tweet thing” he eventually got that audience with the IGP and he made sure we all knew about it by inviting other people to go also

Yes, he Davido invited his colleagues and other people who had strong feets on the ground for the protest. Check the pictures below.

Well, who he invited or didn’t invite doesn’t matter here anymore because he clearly made it open for anybody who wants to go with him to come along. The interesting part was, he never wanted the meeting to be a closed door or secret meeting because the meeting was for the people

...Not for his personal gains. He wanted to take our demands directly to the IGP instead of just protesting with the innocent masses at risk of being harassed or killed by these hoodlums called the SARS or police. R.I.P JIMOH ISIAQ and the other departed souls. Check photos below

You all see how transparent Davido was all through the process from letting us know we needed to dialogue with the top and how he invited his colleagues and other people to go with him to see the IGP.

Now, after Davido got to Abuja, he joined the protest,helped in the release of the detained protesters and went back to his hotel and the next day set out to have that dialogue with the IGP. The funny thing was we Nigerians, well most of y’all dragged Davido on this street...

...of Twitter because of a 27 seconds video that was circulating instead of getting facts straight. These influencers and tweet fans dragged,insulted and even rejected Davido for risking his life by going to see the IGP in Abuja.

I wouldn’t have said Davido needed or deserve an apology from y’all that dragged him, but the same meeting Davido had with the IGP which was not even hidden or undisclosed, the same influencers that insulted and dragged Davido, went on a private zoom meeting with...

...Ayo Balogun(Wizkid) and even Falz that directly rejected to go to Abuja with Davido. This zoom meeting they had with top stakeholders was private and the discussion held in that meeting is still undisclosed amd hidden. Where as the meeting Davido had with the IGP is...

On YouTube and other platforms us all to watch. Now the issue is, i don’t see the same energy with which Davido was dragged on this street anymore because it’s Davido nah. Y’all find it easy to drag Davido nah, so why should we drag Wizkid or these other clout chasing influencers

The hypocrisy and genuine hate when it comes to Davido is what i don’t really understand. Unlike the others his meeting with the IGP was open and transparent in everything he had been doing regarding this issue but he was the person that got dragged,insulted and isolated.

Remember at the beginning of this thread, i said Davido deserves an apology from us all and these stated reasons above shows indeed he deserves an apology from all of us on this street of Twitter.

Nevertheless, we shouldn’t let this divide us nor take us away from the actual matter on ground because we started this together and we must end it in victory together. So let’s #EndSWAT #SARSMUSTEND Now!!!
