- asking people to ring their mates

And apparently people only have to self-isolate *on getting a positive result*??????

Insanity. You should isolate when you get the test, because your likelihood of having COVID at that point is VERY HIGH

These are basic steps that pretty much every successful country has adopted, it is completely incomprehensible that the UK govt is considering A LOCKDOWN without stuff like this
