Thread on Chaeyoung's mistreatments and getting sidelined by her own fandom for years and issues I've seen regarding her that gets neglected.

Disclaimer: This is all my opinion people are free to agree or diasagree cause I honestly do not care anymore. People don't speak up on sh!t when it concerns her.

1. The main issue simply relies within the fandom, y'all simple see Chaeyoung as a measure of your ship. Now let's be real half of y'all don't give a sh!t about her unless it comes to your ships, onces be getting 10k-15k on ship posts but can't speak up on the issues for Cy ?

2. "Token gay member" as a lesbian myself I understand the concept of finding comfort in your idol for your of being a part, I get it. But she is just not that. Kpop stans getting cy viral every day for doing something gay but can't name a single song she has written since debut.

3. Chaeyoung not getting a solo rap for a title track since debut. Dahyun got a solo rap part in Dtna and fs and both of them were iconic and she thoroughly deserved it, I just want jype to give her the same opportunity in near future, I just want to see her rapping.

5. Chaeyoung being called a "visual hole" and "ugly" since debut, and still now there are few. The way y'all literally go "please don't say like that. Please spread love. ". Like ???? They are literally insulting her ?? Tf you spreading love for ??

6. "Infantilizing her", like I understand she still has a lot of cuteness and childishness in her but the way some of y'all cover her up with stickers in pictures she's showing skin ?? She wouldn't have posted that picture if she's uncomfortable? She's a grown ass woman ffs.

6. Chaeyoung losing her confidence as a performer, if you even remotely compare the confidence she held when she was in sixteen and now, jype always kept pushing her for this resulting her to get shy and nervous while even singing her melody protects or rap.

7. "Chaeyoung's tattoos" y'all speak more on her tattoos than y'all speak on her talents. Like tattoos are hot, I get it but she's just not all about tattoos. Talk about all the thing she contributes and how amazing she is as a person as well.

8. Chaeyoung having the least views, likes and what not (most of the times). She is always at the bottom when it comes to these things but it doesn't happens with the other members tho (jy the exception mostly with her) if y'all are ot9 then why doesn't the number adds up.

9. Chaeyoung being so genuinely happy and surprised when getting loud cheering in ph (I'm truly thankful to filo onces for that) it really shows that she's not accustomed to nor she expects that kinda cheers for her, which is truly sad.

10. Making fun of her clothing choices, like tf y'all are laughing at ? She maintains and likes a specific fashion style, it's her life, she can wear whatever tf she wants its none of y'alls business. Stop calling it weird and shit like that.

11. Getting in trouble with jype because she did cut her hair short? I don't get it artists should have the freedom of any hairstyle they want to keep & then Cy requesting people to "call her pretty even if it does not look pretty" honestly fvck knetz for making her feel unpretty

12. "Chaeyoung not being praised enough" She has the most writing and participating credit in songs, has written her kpop raps since 16, and so songs as well rn, has a beautiful mind and always gives amazing advices, has an terrific artistic sense and what not.

13. Chaeyoung being a great person overall, from being one of the youngest to always taking care of others, to giving out matured advices to fans, to fighting with the company for performing a song made for the lgbtqia+ community, always encouraging others.

In short, Son Chaeyoung is a lyricist, composer, graphic designer, painter, dancer, singer, rapper. She's an artist. Put that respect for her.

She is literally one the most all rounder idols who can do everything, like everything.
