Hey, just incase youtube starts recommending this video to people, I want to put a content warning on it: this piece of media is designed to mimick the experience of dementia, of losing your memories, your self, and your connection to the outside world, and eventually dying https://twitter.com/Ingridabiyos/status/1316301040694824960
It is extremely emotionally intensive, I cannot overstress how intense an experience it is. I've only heard a 2 second clip from around the middle and even just those two seconds wrecked me and took me a while to recover from it, and may have even caused a very minor trauma
If this video is recommended to you only click on it if you know you're prepared for it AND you have prepared exit options and post care to recover. Also, you won't ever be able to unhear it, so be prepared for that. I can't unhear those two seconds I listened to
It is extremely irresponsible for @YouTube to allow this video to not have a severe content warning attached to it that the user must acknowledge before having access to the video
I fear I may be just stirring up curiosity about this with this post. It's not wrong to want to listen to it, however if you are curious about it now PLEASE promise both me and yourself that you'll only do it if you're 110% sure you're prepared for it
Okay let me clear a few things up:

1, it does absolutely not give you dementia lol. Dw your brain will not start to degrade if you listen to it

And 2, I'm not saying "this is evil don't listen to it". This album is an amazing piece of art the world would be lesser for if it
Didn't exist. I am not anti-EATEOT, I'm pro-EATEOT, What I'm saying is that this is an extremely intense experience, and I don't want anyone to be harmed by going into it not knowing how intense it is
3, different people will have different experiences with it. I had a very negative experience with it that I don't want anyone else to have. This album is amazing, and I want people to be empowered to have a POSITIVE experience with it, safely.
4, also.... if you think my previous claim that a 2 second snippet may have caused a minor trauma in me is ridiculous...... well how trauma works is widely misunderstood. I wrote a bit about it here: https://twitter.com/TessasTeaTime/status/1316605746797187073?s=19
Harrassing me for talking honestly about mental health issues is bad actually, fun fact. I talked a bit about what trauma is and isn't in this thread. Now stop harrassing me on the basis of your lack of understanding of what trauma *actually* is https://twitter.com/TessasTeaTime/status/1316604174180646912?s=19
I don't know why I need to explain that how hollywood depicts trauma is not reflective of how actual trauma works in the real world 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Also lol @ the ppl saying "it doesn't need a content warning it's in the description that no one reads anyway"

"Why are you suggesting a systemic solution when we could instead just put the blame on individuals? 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪"
