We have come to the junction that your fathers & mothers got to; what next? Well, like the ones before you, you must make a decision. Do you, like the late great Tai Solarin, remove your protest clothes, wear a big agbada & accept the People's Bank job?

Do you, like the great Wole Soyinka, put down your pen & accept the Federal Road Safety Corps job? Do you, like Baba Gana Kingibe, renounce your M.K.O Abiola & take up your Minister of Foreign Affairs job with Abacha?

Or!

Do you, like the late great Gani Fawehinmi, say; "No."

"I don't want a National Honour," but chose to start his own political party when it was easier to join the established ones? Do you, like the late great Fela Anikulapo Kuti continue with your brand of fiery music BUT still decide to start his own political party to fight?

The protests have been overrun by the Hyenas who usually wait for the Lionesses to do the hard work of killing the prey then swoop in to eat the kill. In other words; it will soon become anarchy on the streets & the agents of destabilization will devour you.

Time to pause.

You're seeing the rush to be in front now AFTER you've done the hard work. After you've been beaten, sprayed with tear gas & water cannons. Arrested & killed. Now, the Govt. has decided to act & because the way it is done is to sit down & talk, the ones who usually profit...

...have shown up. Don't give them the glory. Let the Govt. tell you, on the streets & in full glare of the cameras, what they will do. Tell the Govt. to prosecute the killers of the innocent protesters. That's the first step to equity.

Don't waste the momentum but it's time...

...to rethink the strategy or it will be lost. The first step to breaking is allowing the glory hunters in. The next step is the counter protesters.

Step back, listen, as a group, to the Govt.

Write down the assurances & tell them to give you measurable milestones.

Everything should be as transparent as possible. In other words; cameras & microphones. Not phone calls & closed door meetings.

Then you can take a step back AND decide to be very political!!!!

You can slow down the protests because the power dynamic is shifting.
