SINTA: darling; cherished one

A term not commonly used nowadays in conversations but can be predominantly found in songs and poems about love. The word dates back from the spaniards. Considered a "deep" word that holds so much meaning when used. Romantic endearment.
MAHAL: love

Not to be mistaken from it's other meaning which is "expensive", this is a very common endearment used in PH. Romantically used.
IROG: dear one; beloved

Same as sinta, this is used as an endearment between lovers. We don't usually use in common conversations.
TINATANGI: my one and only

Terms used to describe someone very important to you. Does not necessarily have to be romantic.
ULAYAW: intimate companion (non sexual)

Does not have to be an intimate partner. Not necessarily describing a romantic s/o. Can be used platonically for an intimate friend.
