There are lots of great reasons to #VoteYesOnCannabis, but for us, legalisation is about justice.

Justice means ending a racist process of arresting, charging, convicting and imprisoning Māori at hugely disproportionate rates for cannabis.
Justice means treating people who use cannabis with dignity

Justice means allowing people to access medicinal cannabis at reasonable prices

Justice means not giving a young Māori man a criminal conviction for using cannabis

Justice requires legalisation. #VoteYesOnCannabis
Don't let anyone tell you that cannabis legalisation doesn't matter.

Prohibition is undermining the mana of entire communities.

Last year along, 5233 people were charged with cannabis offences, the majority for possession.

Prohibition is ruining lives.

#VoteYesOnCannabis
Prohibition is so dangerous because it not only sucks people into the racist justice system, but it also doesn't address harmful weed use in any meaningful way

Only legalisation will help the minority of users who have a problematic relationship to cannabis #VoteYesOnCannabis
