A young man that just turned 18 asked me for recommendations

So here's a short thread

Business: skip the "business" books

Most of them are useless, especially the leadership ones

Instead, read biographies and business stories like

-Sam Walton: Made in America
-Benjamin Franklin by Walter Isaacson
-The Hard Thing About Hard Things by Ben Horowitz

Investing:

Start with The Bitcoin Standard by @saifedean because it gives you the entire history of money

A Random Walk Down Wall Street is a gook book about markets

And they're not books, but read @stratechery and @APompliano emails (both have free and paid. paid is worth it)

Bonus: self-Improvement

In my opinion you only need 2 books here

1) How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie

2) Atomic Habits by James Clear
