If anyone in the 209 is vegan, wants to go vegan, or sometimes enjoys vegan food I’m gonna list all the restaurants I know of with vegan options below

Churchkey in downtown Modesto; I looooooove their cauliflower wings but they also have vegan burger options and Buddha bowl options as well!

Bauer’s 66 1/2 has a lot of American vegan food like burgers, Mac n cheese, pastas etc and it’s good asfff. Their non-vegan food is good too so fun for vegans and non vegans alike

Ralston’s goat has probably my fave vegan pulled pork burger ever but also lasagna + other options, and they offer tofu scramble during brunch!

Practically any Thai place is vegan friendly. But my fave is Thailand Restaurant in downtown. Sooooooo fire and super accommodating. For Thai first timers, pad Thai, pad kee mao, and pad see ew are all good intro dishes and can be made vegan(usually)

Same goes for Indian food, suuuuuper vegan friendly. My fave place is Sunlight in Ceres but I haven’t ventured out too much so send me recommendations if you have any

There’s an Ike’s in Modesto and Turlock and both have vegan sandwich menus. Love me some Ike’s, my fave is The Pee Wee

How did I almost forget... we have an all vegan restaurant in Modesto!! TNK Café! Uggghhh their food is so fire

Fresh Food Fork is more of a health centered restaurant in Ceres and they have grilled tofu as a protein option so you can easily get a vegan rice bowl. I like to go there when I want sum healthy

Pho Viet in Modesto was my favorite pho place and though unfortunately they don’t have vegan pho broths, they do have vegan stir fries and veggie options on their menu. They’re super accommodating and food is yum

I don’t really feel like listing them all but a lot of sushi places with vegan options. I know Raw and Fumi Sushi are some to name a few
