A pledge of loyalty to the US Constitution.

36 years later, I am sickened watching Republicans throw away their loyalty to this country.

Both my anger and disappointment are incredibly profound right now.

I never thought my fellow Americans were capable of such a rapid descent into pure, unbridled fascism.

There are a lot of folks in this country who are completely broken and damaged people.

It feels like pure depravity to me.

These people have no moral center.

It's all just transactional for them.

Trump gives them permission to hate, and they oblige him in spades.

I am beyond stunned that I'm living in this moment, watching one political party give up all pretense of being loyal citizens of this country.

These people are a cancer on this country and they're not going away once Trump loses next month.

Is feels as if one party has been completed replaced by a bunch of psychopaths.

I don't know whether to weep for, or rage at those asshole Senate Republicans.

This confirmation hearing is charade.

The sloppiness and thinnest of veiled political theater.

They can even be bothered anymore with a veneer of legitimacy.

They don't care.

Traitors, all.

All Republicans of good conscience, of decent moral character, must abandon Trump and abandon their party.

To save our country, they must vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on November 3rd.

There is no other choice if you are loyal US citizen.

I feel sadness.

Anger.

Disappointment.

But mostly rage at what is happening in the US Senate right now.

All of the Republicans involved have sold their souls for power and greed.

I am out of words now.

I don't know how to put my utter disgust at the Republicans into words.

There are no words.

How do Republicans not just vomit all over themselves when they look in the mirror?
