I'm going to be ending my #EndSARS tweeting by tommorow. I feel that the protests have achieved the intermediate aim, and the focus now should be on getting people on the table to hammer out details. I also think a follow up protest should be scheduled, in case things...

...do not work out. The next 6 months should be the testing period. It's important right now that the people who folks trust go and help reposition the police. And do it openly - livestream the discussions. You can create lasting change that way.

The longer the current protests last after the demands have been given in to, the more political jobbers and petty criminals will jump on it, and dilute it down till everyone hates it. It is better to end on a powerful, good note.

Strength has been shown. The threat of this strength will always remain - particularly if that's the last thing they remember.
