So earlier today the BBC's chief political correspondent posted the news that Kier Starmer has called for a national circuit breaker lockdown. She then tweeted the government response just as you'd expect any journalist to do. Guess how this is being portrayed online ...
Incidentally, Kuensberg is quoting from this tweet by Amanda Milling, Chairman of the Conservative Party. Not sure why she didn't mention that, but neither did Beth Ridley from Sky. https://twitter.com/amandamilling/status/1316090718927163394
* Beth Rigby. Sorry,
Why does this matter? It's because like Fatima the clipart ballerina, superb people are tweeting and retweeting this without context and once again Kuenssberg is being singled out as though this is anything out of the ordinary for a political journalist to do.
OK peeps, this thread shows there's some timeline daisy chaining going on. So S*n shitbag posts, then Milling then LK. As they say it's very odd: https://twitter.com/evolvepolitics/status/1316127001250607109
