Last week we saw some parts of our auction mechanism breakdown.

The auction for "21" by SSX3LAU saw one bidder fat finger a bid for $210,000 when he meant to bid $21,000. We also saw someone place a bid on the wrong piece.

We have updated our auction mechanism to address this.

From now on, users will have to re-type in the amount that they are bidding during an auction.

From now on, all bids placed will be FINAL.

We are making further updates and will release more information about how we will handle auction edge cases now that the UI has been updated.
