Dream Lakers 2020 Offseason : A thread

1) Lakers don't have much practical cap space. Got ADs cap hold, KCPs, Brons deal and a bunch of expiring deals or player options. Barring some crazy moves, we won't have cap to outright sign a pretty big name

Thankfully, we don't have to have cap to make pretty big upgrades to a title winning team.

Let's start with some of the more "IF" moves.

2) Danilo Gallinari ring chases on a 1 year deal worth the MLE(9-10mil). Stretch 4 near 20ppg scorer that we lacked behind Bron/AD

Danilo isn't a good defender, but a team w/ AD, Bron, AC and Vogel can hide him id like to believe. Danilo said yesterday that winning a title is his #1 priority, right after he congratulated the Lakers on the title. Got a feeling some solid FAs take 1 year deals this year

3) Using the MLE on Gallo allows us to still use the Kuz/DG/1st round pick package elsewhere. That package allows us to bring $23.7mil back in salary. Call up OKC/Brooklyn and ask about Dinwiddie or Schroder. Preference is Schroder but either is fine

4) At this point, we've used the two biggest "assets" we had, which was the MLE and the trade package mentioned.

5) Now we look towards FA w/ vet min deals for ring chasers and our bi-annual exception. Main targets should be Craig,Harkless,Wes Matthews, Justin Holiday etc

We can give one of those guys the bi-annual exception of $3mil+. * NOT SAYING WE GET THEM ALL*

And in terms of center, you'd have to assume Boogie is back on a minimum deal, and either Dwight/Javale are back. Still got Cacok too tho(sneaky gem IMO)

Now remember, its a "DREAM" scenario, but I tried to not include anything thats over the top unrealistic. Feel like in this FA climate w/ little cap space available, most, if not all the moves are somewhat realistic
