why kiwi is about babygate

i’m basically gonna analyze the song lyric by lyric and give my interpretation about it.
if you believe in babygate then don’t even bother reading it. if you’re planning to attack me, go ahead because i don’t care. this is a public platform and i’m allowed to share my opinion.

referring to bri:
“she worked her way through a cheap pack of cigarettes” (brianna smokes)
“hard liquor mixed with a bit of intellect” (i assume the liquor part refers to the fact that bri was only papped with Iouis while partying or hitting clubs)

“all the boys they were saying they were into it, such a pretty face on a pretty neck” (bri was knows back then as an LA “socialite”, a nobody really, who said was a stylist but only went to parties to hook up with random guys, basically a GROUPIE)

“she’s driving me crazy” (here harry uses she to refer to the situation. the whole thing going around was driving him crazy, completely mad. obviously he was with Iouis and no one wants to see their partner suffering due to a stunt of such dimension. everything was a big mess)

“but i’m into it” (he’s into it, as in, he’s been dragged into the stunt although it doesn’t involve him directly, but it involves his partner, so it affects him too.) “i’m kinda into it” (there’s no escape, the stunt was already public and they will have to deal with the shit)

“it’s getting crazy” (this is my interpretation, i believe the stunt wasn’t meant to be pushed till the kid’s birth, what i mean is that none of them thought the “baby” was actually gonna be born. i believe they thought they would spread rumors but later deny the baby’s delivery)

so by “it’s getting crazy” he means it basically got out of hand. i believe belfast was the turning point when the article about the child’s birth dropped 3 months beforehand and they all stood up against it, which lead to the concert being cancelled, fishy situations etc.

“i’m having your baby” (self-explanatory, as if bri was saying this) and then “it’s none of your business” (it could refer to the fact that it’s a stunt and the kid is really not gonna be their business because it’s not their actual child to take care of.)

“it’s new york baby always packed up, holland tunnel for a nose it’s always jacked up” (more reference to the groupies, so just bunch of girls who are there for parties, guys, meltdowns and drugs. very common scenario in elite new york and LA, celebrities’ capitals)

“when she’s alone she goes home to a cactus, in a black dress she’s such an actress” (also referring to bri: when she’s “alone” as in not working as a groupie, she goes home to a “cactus”, to nothing) i think this verse is kind of a diss to what she did for a living.)

“in a black dress she’s such an actress”
(this pictures pretty much sums it up and also the actress part refers to the stunt, it’s all acted out, everything is planned, everyone’s pretending)

“she sits beside me like a silhouette, hard candy dripping on me till my feet are wet, and now she’s all over me it’s like i paid for it, i’m gonna pay for this”
(bri is a shadow on his life, a constant reminder that he’s not free, just like Iouis, he’s trapped by the stunt.)

now onto the music video. which apparently makes no sense and is not related to the lyrics or the song. or.. is it?
first of all: kids, a bunch of kids
next: a cake war
finally: the fact that harry tweeted “cake-gate” in 2015.

another thing to point out: the music video is chaotic just like the whole stunt was and if you look at harry’s expression during it he’s always mad and confused. he just smiles at the end, in the group picture and it’s almost like a smug smile more than and honest happy smile.

does it ring a bell? baby-gate, cake-gate, kids and cake.. yeah!

finally onto the name of the song. why KIWI? well.. who pushed the babygate narrative earlier and the hardest? 1DHQ and the media associated with them. who was that media in charged of celeb gossip? dan wooton. where is he from? new zealand. kiwi? a bird from new zealand. SIMPLE
