The “home” set that Apple demonstrated HomePod mini in was one of an extremely wealthy family. It was very beautiful but kinda made me a bit angry.
This goes for a lot of what Apple shows in their marketing examples. It always seems so far detached from the reality most of us live in. It’s really hard to relate to the seemingly perfect lives not just their presenters have, but the actors and scenes they’re in.
I’m sure some people live in homes that look like this (like some folks who work at Apple, even), but this kind of set makes me firmly believe that Apple is a *luxury* electronics company. It’s not for “the rest of us” as it’s been sold before.
