1/ Slight hold up on the blog going live:
I’ve been watching twitter closely the last couple of days - especially the responses to @SaveUoPLit’s tweet about all 3 Early Modern literature academics being made redundant. The fact that this (rightly so) has caused such an outcry

2/ has made me think that the blog should have a section with posts dedicated solely to discussing why the study of Early Modern Literature *is* relevant & important. Students should have access to a range of texts within the period & I’m (hopefully!) going to help prove why.
3/ Tonight’s job is writing about Shakespeare, Milton, Donne & Marlowe (to name a few). It will go live as soon as possible, but I’m such a perfectionist & want to make sure it’s the best it can possibly be. I’ll be in touch with those who want to contribute as soon as possible
