Just started watching Justin Fields. I guess I’ll do something similar to what I just did for Trey Lance. Lol I think I’m going to just stick with the playoff game vs Clemson.

I’m live tweeting the clips as I’m watching the game. Think of them as notes.
Took a few games to watch Lance go through reads. A lot of throws were consistently there. Maybe because of level of comp. Took a few plays to watch Justin Fields do it. Starts to his right. Didn't panic when it wasn't there. Worked eyes to his left. Nice throw. Get TE down
Ball jumps on the receiver. Doesn't look like he has to try to throw outside the numbers. Nice natural strong arm.
We saw last night Justin Herbert throw a potential game winning deep ball to Mike Williams. I think the most underrated part about that throw and this one here is the QB's ability to put the receiver in a winnable position. The location goes overlooked b/c of the great catch.
This was reviewed and ruled a catch.
Looks like they are trying to high low thee cb. CB plays in that window. Sometimes the best throw is the one you dont attempt. Check it down and live to play another down.
I'm checking off boxes here. Clearly athletic. Pocket collapsing. Does he have the ability to get out of the pocket and make plays on the move? Doesn't complete the pass but everything leading up to the throw was encouraging.
The benefits of having Fields at QB. The threat of him keeping it holds the d-end JUUUSSSTTT enough to make him a tick late on getting to Dobbins. Can't crash down with Fields at QB. Helps in the run game even when he's not running.
End Zone view. Holds 3 just enough to keep him from crashing down on Dobbins.
Throwing the out route from the far hash. College hashes are much wider than NFL hashes. Again, doesn't look like he has to really try to force the throw. Good arm strength.
