3 reasons why #nocode exploded. A thread.

1. Supply and Demand.
2. The No-Code Community.
3. We reached an inflection point in what’s possible.
Reason 1: 50.7% of the population is now either a Millennial or GenZ. This means over half of us have grown up with computers our entire lives. Despite that only 0.3% of people can code. This leads to a huge appetite for software but not a lot of people that can help create it.
Reason 2: While there might be a debate about the name no-code ( #TeamDash)... the fact that we have a name is huge. It allows us to find each other, collaborate, and continue to grow. Before now, there was a belief this wasn’t possible. Our community has changed that.
Reason 3: A powerful combination of forces has recently teamed up... The cloud, the proliferation of APIs integrating everything, the invention of design systems, and no-code tools going beyond templated websites has 10x’d the potential of what you can build without code.
Would love your thoughts here. Did I miss anything??? Always looking to add to/modify my theories!
