Is there any space safe for Black people? Even astrology is a weapon of white supremacy in the hands of those whose minds cannot conjure up the reality of Black humanity.
White supremacy makes EVERYTHING a weapon of suppression that insidiously proclaims that Black people + their feelings don't matter. That Black humanity and it's breadth of feeling and experiences is irrelevant to whatever experience white people are having.

I've said it before and I've said it again: The tropical zodiac in the hands of white astrologers has a very clear legacy of being used as a means to furthering false narratives about the lives and experiences of Black people.
That statement may sound radical to you. But white supremacy has done it to medicine, psychology, literature, philosophy...you name it. They have managed to ingrain in every discipline and practice their belief in the inferiority of Black people.

Why do you think astrology would be any different? Why do you believe that, somehow, astrology is free from the oppressive ideologies of white supremacy? How????
They turned MLK into a pandering and docile hippy. They turned Muhammad Ali into a dancing ballerina. And now they've turned our dear illustrious ancestor George Floyd into fodder for their guilt...another life whose death was only meant to awaken white people from their slumber.
Yet, they are still asleep. Even in their alleged awakening they unable to excommunicate themselves from the doctrine of white supremacy. Everything is about them, their feelings, their intentions, and their perspective.
I hardly ever feel bad about being excluded from participation in events etc. facilitated by astrology organizations and the like. My work is an explicit statement + practice against the hierarchies and ideologies that are taught there.
If your astrology ain't liberating then it ain't for me.
