I recently watched a livestream with @nateliason on @AliAbdaal 's YouTube channel.
Buried in it was a hidden gem around Nat's system for repurposing his content across different platforms.
It's the best system I've seen for doing this, so I thought it was worth a thread

The challenge Nat (and every other creator) has is that creating content from scratch takes time.
Repurposing existing content is easier. You've already done the heavy lifting of honing your idea.
And, even better, you already know whether your audience likes it or not.

Without a clear system, you risk forgetting to use your most successful content across your other platforms.
That's a really inefficient way to scale your content creation. And it means less people see your best ideas.

Nat's system serves two main purposes:
1. Inspiration - if he needs a content idea, he can easily filter for ideas he hasn't started yet.
2. (Re-)Creation - When he's ready to create, he can easily access the content he's already created on that topic.

Surprise surprise, Nat uses @RoamResearch to power his system
He captures his ideas using the Daily Note.
Each idea acts as a centralised point that different content mediums spin-off from.
With some simple tagging, he can easily identify his content gaps and get creating.

The specifics of how he does it are in the video below. Nat pretty much gives a live tutorial on how he does it starting at 48:17.
