The way y’all treat black slurs vs slurs for other races and ethnicities pisses me off. Any other slur is said and it’s WWlll. Let a nonblack person say nigga and y’all are writing thesis statements about how it’s okay and the context it was used in
Idgaf, if you are not black DO NOT open your mouth to tell us how to feel about our slurs. You have no place telling any black person how to feel about a nb person saying nigga or any other black slurs.
And just to be clear, I am in no way saying y’all shouldn’t go hard for other slurs but it’s shouldn’t take black people going back and forth for y’all to get it. We shouldn’t have to argue and battle nb people about saying slurs used to dehumanize us
When ever I see people from other races or ethnicities use slurs not meant for them to reclaim, people go way harder. When it’s black people, it’s always some excuse; “it’s about the context” “I didn’t say it in a racist way” or some other bullshit.
If you aren’t apart of whatever race or ethnicity, you don’t get to reclaim their slurs. This goes for any minority group period
And normalize calling it the “n-SLUR” not the “n-word”. It’s not just a word it’s a slur and if you aren’t black you can’t reclaim, say it, sing it or whatever tf else.
POC and white people, y’all need to be holding yourselves and members of your communities accountable. Black people are tired.
